Daemonica Review

So are you into dark mysteries? Or into puzzle games with a wicked twist? Or maybe even a simple hack and slash with some summoning of the undead spells type of games? Well Daemonica is the game for you. It has all of the above with awesome sound effects and great graphics. A very dark and demonic game I’d say, the thunder storms and pouring rain alone with the complete silence is already creepy.

Set in medieval England, Nicholas Farepoynt, (who you play) is an investigator who can talk to the dead. You are called to the dying town of Cavorn, and asked by the mayor to investigate a murder of a young girl who is new to the town. The mayor claims he knew who it was so he instantly hung him. You know better though it wasn't the work of the young man. It’s something far more evil than you can possibly imagine and you’re the only one who can solve this murder mystery. Along the way you will complete many quests and side quests to reach your main goal. Whichever decisions you choose will make the outcome of the game different each time you play through. Collect herbs, create potions to enhance your senses, and fight throughout this game to reach your goal. You will soon find out that there are many dark secrets that this town has to offer. Then things get deadly.
